NanoSustain
Welcome to the NanoSustain website. The ultimate goal of NanoSustain is to explore, examine and develop new solutions for the sustainable design, use, re-use, recycling and final treatment and/or disposal of specific nanomaterials and associated products. This will be based on a comprehensive hazard characterization and impact assessment of selected environmentally and economically relevant materials products.

WP4 leaders, Michael Steinfeldt and Arnim Gleichh, organised a very successful training workshop on Life Cycle Assessment of Nanomaterials on 26th & 27th September at the University of Bremen. The aim of the workshop was to provide an overview of current methods, present results, and discuss the remaining uncertainties and data gaps remain. Presentations from participants were followed by fruitful and lively discussions; this interaction will be maintained through continuing interaction within the group.
